Frequently Asked Questions About Delivering Jobs

What is Delivering Jobs?

Delivering Jobs is a campaign that aims to help create pathways to leadership and employment opportunities for people with autism, intellectual and/or developmental differences by providing them with resources to prepare for jobs and leadership positions, offering workplace development resources for employers and engaging the public to advocate for inclusion and equality.

Who are the founding partners of Delivering Jobs?

Autism Speaks, Best Buddies and Special Olympics, in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation, are the founding partners of Delivering Jobs.

How long will the Delivering Jobs campaign last?

Delivering Jobs is a five-year campaign. While Delivering Jobs has been announced, the campaign officially launches on January 1, 2020, and concludes in 2025.

Does Delivering Jobs directly place job seekers with autism, intellectual and/or developmental differences in employment and leadership roles?

While Best Buddies and Autism Speaks do offer job placement support, Delivering Jobs is an awareness campaign, not a job placement service. Our goal is to draw attention to the staggering unemployment rate among adults with autism, intellectual and/or developmental differences, challenge employers to hire this untapped labor force, and offer resources that help facilitate workplace inclusion and leadership development.

What is Delivering Jobs’ Federal Tax ID number?

Delivering Jobs is a joint program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), Autism Speaks, Best Buddies, and Special Olympics, each a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. EIF’s Federal Tax ID number is 95-1644609.
